Damselfly is a jazz fusion group inspired by bands like Weather Report and The Yellowjackets. Francesco Protasi, bandleader, wanted to create a group that blended electronic and acoustic sounds. Most fusion bands aim to sound intergalactic but Damselfly has that earthy grit that’s sure to keep you moving your feet.
